Zazie O. Beetz was born in Berlin on November 21, 1991. ZZIE Olivia Beetz was born in Berlin January 1, 1991. Jennifer Aniston attended the same high school as Beetz. Beetz went on to pursue her French studies in Skidmore College, after graduating LaGuardia. Beetz began auditioning shortly following graduation, and she was then offered the role in Atlanta. Beetz is the daughter of an German father and an African American mother from Berlin was raised within New York and spoke German and English. Zazie has been involved in acting since childhood and was a part of several community theatres. Zendaya was able to land an Disney Channel breakout role thanks her impressive dancing skills. It was in 2010 that the dancer and actress finally got her first big role, when Bella Thorne cast her as Rocky Blue. Zendaya went vegetarian aged 11 when she passed a slaughterhouse on an excursion with her dad. PEOPLE told them that she stated: "I thought all those animals were horribly cruel, being crammed in there, waiting to be slaughtered. It was shocking to think that's the way I'd gotten my meat!" Seit then, she has stayed with a vegetarian diet.
