Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
My baby crawled around inside a playpen, while I was working 12-hour shifts cleaning the floors, as well as removing the wallpaper. Ha! The home was starting to look good, but there was a lot to be done. To complete this task, I was prepared to invest a significant amount of time and money looking for my dream house. My three sons and I were looking for the hidden treasures attending estate sales in order to reduce my expenses. Our weekly routine was to spend Thursday-Saturday walking through garage and estate sales to purchase a mix of old and new pieces and then I would spend weekends painting and sanding the driveway. Looked a little something like the picture below... That's the time my love of restoration of furniture started. Even after our house was fully furnished, I could not put it down! On the streets, I rented a small area and then sold a few items. Then, I ran out of many pieces to store in the room available. At home, I would host open houses where more than 1000 guests could visit and buy any item they wanted on the first floor in just one weekend. My venture Growing Days began here. While my company grew as did our family. I was balancing the demands between what it took starting a business and be a mommy too. Growing Days just fit. My sweet Nora arrived in the year 2013, which was our 4th child. Though I was content about the direction my company went, I was feeling like I needed to take an occasional break. I decided to slow down and stay at home, spending time with my kids. That was exactly what I was looking for at the moment. In the course of a few months, my phone started to begin to. I started receiving requests from people requesting to help with their home improvement and design of interiors. The majority of them were the ones who had strolled through my property during furniture open houses! It wasn't long before I managed a large-scale home renovation company. The first step was to take clients one by one with a speed I was confident in. There is a good chance that I would have laughed if someone had told me the company was to become the premise of an upcoming TV show that airs on the DIY Network. As I reflect back, it makes me smile.
